Alliance Redwoods’ mission is to be a place of renewal where our guests meet the Creator in His Creation, and we do so by providing outdoor experiences with social, spiritual, educational and recreational objectives. From leading ziplining tours through the Redwoods, inspiring students through our Outdoor Education Program, to providing “service as tall as our trees” to our overnight visitors – we are seeking fun, energetic team members who align with our values and are ready to make a difference in the lives of each of our guests.

Purpose Statement:

Facilitate activities and challenge courses, support other ARCG teams, and instill a greater love for the outdoors as we strive to serve the needs of ARCG guests of all ages.

Duties may include the following based on schedule availability:

  • Facilitate various programs including but not limited to Challenge Courses, Nature Hikes and Rec Activities.
  • Instruct 5th – 8th grade students during the early Fall and late Spring in nature and ecology through classes that involve forest, water, and ecosystem ecology.
  • Serve guests in Sonoma Zipline Adventures. This includes guiding, driving, and checking guests in.
  • On-the-job training provided

Hours may also be available supporting other departments, such as:

  • Serve guests in the Front Office/Coffee Central area. This includes answering phones, computer data entry, gift store duties, and maintaining the hospitality area.
  • Serve other departments as needed, including Accommodations/Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food Services

  • Unwavering commitment to safety
  • Willingness to work at heights
  • Ability to handle crisis events and work under authority
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of hiking the trails and facilitate the various outdoor challenge courses in all weather conditions
  • Communication skills including phone etiquette and basic computer skills
  • Must be in harmony with ARCG Statement of Faith and ARCG Staff Values
  • Must pass Background Check

Preferred: Experience in teaching, camps, or youth work; CPR and First Aid Certified, Lifeguard Certified

Compensation: $17-$20/ per hour
